Norbert Wehn is plenary speaker at the IEEE International System-on-Chip Conference (SOCC 2017)

In this year the IEEE International System-on-Chip Conference (SOCC) is celebrating its 30th anniversary in Munich. Keynotes and plenary speeches will be given by leading researchers and industry representives in the fields SoC architecture, circuit design, process technology, design tools, and applications.

In his talk "The Memory Challenge in Computing Systems: a Survey", Prof. Norbert Wehn will give an overview on newly emerging DRAM architectures, like HBM, HMC and Wide I/O DRAMs, and present various optimization techniques to optimize bandwidth and energy consumption in DRAM based memory systems.

The conference takes place from September 5th to 8th at the "Hotel Novotel München City" in Munich, Germany. The presentation is scheduled for Friday, 8th, in the plenary hall.
